Protect personal information

Be careful with links
Avoid suspicious links, unexpected downloads and requests for account credentials. Verify unusual requests independently.
Respect others
No harassment, threats, hate, scams, impersonation or deliberate disruption. Keep discussions friendly and use reporting tools when needed.

- Use HTTPS and secure session cookies.
- Hash passwords with a modern password-hashing function.
- Validate and escape user input.
- Protect forms and APIs against CSRF and XSS.
- Rate-limit authentication and message endpoints.
- Provide block, mute, report and moderation workflows.
